Company soloists Laura Gilbreath and Jerome Tisserand were married on June 14 at University Presbyterian Church and celebrated with a reception at Seattle’s Arctic Club Hotel. The couple plans to honeymoon in Maui after the first of the year (and Nutcracker!). Ms. Gilbreath will be recognized professionally as Laura Tisserand.

On August 10, corps de ballet member Leah O’Connor was married to Michael Merchant at the historic Jenne Farm on Whidbey Island, followed by a honeymoon in Kauai. The bride’s gown was specially created for her by PNB’s own Mark Zappone, whose costume designs appear frequently in Company productions. Additional congratulations go to the new Ms. Merchant, who earned her Bachelor of Artsdegree from University of Washington in June.
